Applying the Basecoat
The critical first step in the coating process is the application of the basecoat.

Broadcasting the Polymer Flake
Immediately following the basecoat application, the decorative polymer flake is generously broadcast by hand across the wet surface. This crucial step achieves two things for your new floor:

- Enhanced Texture: It creates a subtle, anti-slip additive for added safety and dimension.
Scraping and Cleaning the Flake
Once the basecoat is fully cured (hardened), the floor undergoes a crucial finishing step: scraping and vacuuming.

- Vacuuming: A thorough vacuuming follows to remove all debris, preparing the perfectly profiled surface for the final clear topcoat.
The Final Clear Coat
